Join local artist Kate to paint your choice of flowers in her signature Flower Fields style in this boutique acrylic painting workshop as part of the Wine and Arts Trail at Myattsfield for the Bickley Harvest Festival.
In this 2.5hr workshop, you will learn techniques for sketching out artwork, picking a colour palette, colour mixing and how to create focal points and balance across an artwork. You can choose from a range of flowers to paint (or adapted to the levels and needs of participants, and you can choose to tailor your design as much as you like to make it your own. Suitable for beginners and more experienced painters.
Enjoy a coffee and food from on site food trucks Mr Bean and the Pickled Octopus, as well as wine tastings from MyattsField’s award winning range.
Includes: Canvas, artist quality paints and everything you need to create your masterpiece, which is yours to take home at the end of the class!
Not included: Food and drinks (some available on site, or feel free to byo non-alcoholic drinks and food)
Things to note: This is an outdoor workshop, we will be under a marquee sheltered from rain, however please dress for the conditions on the day to make sure you are comfortable throughout. Aprons are provided, but acrylic paint will stain if it gets on clothing so please also keep this in mind. Toilets and drinking water are available on site.

This workshop is designed for adult students, budding artists aged 14-17 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is also a participant in the class.
